Females have been given the honor of having the ability to conceive, carry and birth children. Males have been given the honor of supporting &providing their much-needed strength and masculine energy during this time.
In females, the monthly process that the reproductive system undertakes is nearly universal.
Our bodies follow a monthly cycle that prepares itself for pregnancy.
This is simply an evolutionary process to ensure the continuance of the human race.
It does not indicate that a person is of age to engage in sexual intercourse or is sexually active.
Awareness
Menstrual bleeding is the blood flow from the uterus that occurs every month.
Menstruation begins at approx. 11 years of age and last until approx. 50 years of age.
It is called a ‘menstrual cycle’ because it occurs every month.
Menstruation is a normal part of puberty; similarly, in males, nocturnal emissions are a normal part of puberty.
The first menstrual bleeding is called menarche.
Menstruation is a normal and natural process of the female experience.
While a few cultures celebrate & honor the onset on the menstrual cycle, many cultures express negative and shame-based ideas and views about menstruation.
Research shows that education and awareness improve these erroneous ideas and views.

4 WEEKS OF THE MENSTRUAL CYCLE
The complete menstrual cycle is a 4-week process.
There are four phases of the menstrual cycle.
Some phases overlap.
WEEK 1-Menstrual phase
Menstrual bleeding occurs for approximately 3-7 days.

WEEK 2-Follicular phase
a. Last approximately 14 days, overlap with week 1.
b. Starts from the first day of menstrual bleeding, ends with ovulation, approx. 14 days
c. After the period ends, the lining of the uterus begins to thicken with blood again.
d. The blood is a nutrient-rich environment for an egg to implant and grow.
e. Remember, blood is 90% water & life begins in water.
4 PHASES OF THE MENSTRUAL CYCLE
WEEK 3-Ovulation
a. Right in the middle of the cycle.
b. Varies by female, can be day 13, 14, 15 or 16.
c. Ovary releases an egg or eggs, it/they travel through the ovarian tube.
d. Available to be fertilized by sperm.
e. Sperm can live up to 5 days in the reproductive system.
f. If unprotected sexual intercourse occurs, pregnancy will normally occur.
WEEK 4-Luteal phase
a. From the end of ovulation to the start of the next period.
b. Approx. 15 days
c. Uterus ready for fertilized eggs to implant in nutrient-rich blood.
REMEMBER: Blood = Water = Life.
d. If conception has occurred, egg(s) will implant in the uterus, using the blood as nutrients.
e. a female does not have a menstrual cycle during pregnancy.
f. If there is no pregnancy, egg/eggs will be reabsorbed by the body.
g. If there’s no pregnancy, menstrual bleeding will occur, and the entire cycle will restart.
Conclusion
Every month across the planet, billions of females’ bodies are effortlessly completing these 4 phases, with menstruation being only 1 part of the whole process.
When women are in childbearing years and with more than 8 billion people on this planet, it is obvious it is a powerful & efficient system.
